What date do employers have to mail w2 statements to you? Is it Dec 31 or Jan 30?

Answer:Jan 31st (or the next business day if that's on a weekend), however the IRS does not consider them late until Feb 15th.

FYI, since Jan 31st is a Sunday this year, they have until Feb 1st to have them in the mail.

Answer:It needs to be in the Mail on the last business day of January. If you do not receive it by February 14th than contact your employeer to find out when they were mailed out.
